Just a sketch of two of my characters, Nigel and Lawrence. Their abnormal fashion style is due to their society taking place in the distant and relatively youthful society.
Nigel: A withdrawn, taboo and pessimistic demilupus (fox human) who suffers from insomnia and isolation from his peers, caused both by the latter and by personal choice. A big artsy fanatic, he values creativity (especially dark and chaotic) more than anything, except Wicca and pagan, which he is obsessed with. He's also a chubby-chaser. (You Joyce-fans see where this is going)
Lawrence: The peppy, bubbly and scatterbrained Gay Sidekick who happens to be directly descended from what little traces of by now ancient British dialect remains. He also hold the luck of being one of %5 of the sentient population to be pure human. While clingy and constantly fruitlessly flirting with Nigel, his wise and motivational talks help get his friend back on his feet. In the end, having Lawrence as a bro proves a reason for Nigel to roll out of bed in the morning.
You've got really interesting characters. One of the only pure humans in your world and he's gay? A dark fox/human who's a chubby chaser? Man, those really are interesting concepts for characters.
If Lawrence is gay does this mean he talks normal, talks gayish, or talks GAY. (As "Two in a Half Men" would say, is he going sailing or is he going SAILIIIIIIIIIIIING!)
I'd like to get into animation, but at the moment they're in unpaneled comics.
I'm trying to develop the motherload of MLP fan-series, and I'm planning on uploading the synopsis and sketches, so check back if you want.
But not too over the top.
